Yes, the resin is fully food-safe and cures to a hard, scratch-resistant finish. That said, most customers choose to display theirs and keep a separate everyday board for actual chopping, since the scene inside is really the star of the show.

No. I use a UV-stable resin specifically so it won't discolor with age or sun exposure, unlike cheaper craft resins.

Boards run approximately 12 by 18 inches — sized like a large serving or charcuterie board, so it has real presence on a counter, shelf, or mantle.

It has real weight to it, being solid hardwood and resin, but it's built to be handled and displayed without any special care — treat it the way you would a nice piece of furniture.

I'd recommend a trivet for anything straight off the stove, the same as you would with any nice wood or resin serving piece, just to protect the finish long-term.

Yes. Every scene is hand-built and every resin pour is done individually, so natural variation in the wood grain, the dirt and rock placement, and the resin itself means no two boards ever come out exactly alike.
